Lollapalooza season is back! On Mar. 19, the massive festival announced its lineup. The Latine talent at Lollapalooza 2024 includes Deftones, Pierce The Veil, Elyanna, and more. The festival is set to take place from Aug. 1 to 4 at the historic Grant Park in Chicago, IL.
More than 170 artists play annually across eight stages at the huge festival. Last year, Karol G made history as the first Latina to headline the four-day festival. This year, among the headliners is Melanie Martinez, who is of Dominican and Puerto Rican descent. Other headliners include SZA, Tyler, The Creator, Blink-182, and The Killers. Future X Metro Boomin, Hozier, Stray Kids, and Skrillex are also part of the featured heavy-hitters this year.
Other Latines gracing this year’s stages include Deftones and Pierce The Veil, each of whom have members of Latine descent. The lineup also includes Palestinian-Chilean singer-songwriter Elyanna, the international K-pop ensemble VCHA — with a Cuban and a Venezuelan member — and Ecuadorian-American artist Riovaz. Brazilian musician and DJ Alok, Mexican-American artist Adan Diaz, and Venezuelan artist Carmen DeLeon are also part of the Lollapalooza 2024 lineup.
