Last night (May 18), Sauce Boyz Fest commenced with a performance by none other than the event’s founder, Eladio Carrión. He brought out a major surprise during his set as Bad Bunny, one of his frequent collaborators, joined him on stage.
Eladio Carrión hosted night one of Sauce Boyz Fest at Cervecera de Puerto Rico in Mayagüez. He was a headliner along with rising Dominican star Tokischa. Fresh off releasing his Jersey club-influenced banger “Where She Goes” last night, Bad Bunny joined the festivities at Carrión’s festival.
Bad Bunny is a featured artist on Eladio Carrión’s latest album, 3MEN2 KBRN. During Carrión’s set, they performed their collaboration “Chanel” for the first time together live. The duo also sang their previous hit, “Kemba Walker,” together. Benito continued to hype up the crowd by singing “La Jumpa,” his song with Arcángel. He also performed his smash hit “Tití Me Preguntó” from his Un Verano Sin Ti album.
Eladio Carrión also shared the spotlight with Puerto Rico’s rising acts at the festival, including sets from Young Miko, Yovngchimi, Dei V, and Lil Joujou.
The second day of Sauce Boyz Fest will occur at Estadio Sixto Escobar in San Juan on May 20. Carrión will co-headline with Wiz Khalifa, Bizarrap, and Argentine rapper Duki. Omar Courtz, Luar La L, Noriel, Joyce Santana, and Brray will also perform that day. Rafa Pabón, paopao, Marconi Impara, Moffa, Yan Block, and Gio KB round out the stacked line-up.
Last night, Eladio Carrión also performed music from his album 3MEN2 KBRN, featuring many hip-hop idols. Lil Wayne joined him on the “Gladiator” remix, and Future featured on the “Mbappé” remix. Earlier this week, Carrión released the music video for his 50 Cent collaboration “Si Salimos.”
