DannyLux will soon be hitting the road with concerts across the U.S. Today (March 1), the Mexican-American star revealed the dates for his 2024 Tour of Lux. The Palm Springs crooner is known for his sad sierreño hits like “Jugaste y Sufrí” with Eslabon Armado and “Si Supieras.”
Last year, he pushed música mexicana into the future with his album DLUX. With the deluxe edition of the album, EVOLUXIÓN, out today, DannyLux is showing his vision of música mexicana is limitless. He explores elements of Latine indie pop with Maye for their collaboration “Mi Hogar” and even blends country with Jordyn Shellhart in the song “La Lluvia.” He is also celebrating the release of his new music by announcing another tour of the U.S.
DannyLux’s Tour of Lux will visit 36 cities in the U.S. and Mexico. The tour will kick off on Mar. 8 at the Payne Arena in Hidalgo, TX. After visiting Mexico, he will return to the U.S. on Apr. 27 at Humphrey’s in San Diego, CA. Throughout May and June, DannyLux will perform concerts in major cities like Chicago, IL; Brooklyn, NY; Houston, TX; Phoenix, AZ; and San Francisco, CA. The U.S. leg of the tour will wrap on Jun. 28 at The Novo in Los Angeles, CA.
For select dates of DannyLux’s tour, Erre, Dariell Cano, and Alta Elegancia will serve as opening acts. Tickets for the 2024 Tour of Lux are now on sale. DannyLux will also be performing at the Vive Latino music festival in Mexico City on Mar. 17.
Among the new songs on the EVOLUXIÓN version of DLUX are the romantic “Cuidad De Sol” and “Fracaso” featuring Alejandro Buelna. DannyLux also released a music video for his latest single, “Maldito Alcohol.” In the emotional corrido tumbado song, he sings about drowning the sorrows of a breakup with booze.
