The Latina drag queens of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars are proudly representing their Latine roots with Jessica Wild walking down a runway in a look inspired by Bad Bunny while Jaymes Mansfield brought her Mexican culture to the show.

The eighth season of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars kicked off last Friday. There are six Latina drag queens competing to win and enter the Drag Race Hall of Fame. And for their first challenge, they were tasked with showcasing looks that embodied fame in the past and the present. Puerto Rican drag queen Jessica Wild recreated an outfit by her island’s superstar, Bad Bunny. She donned a red latex outfit similar to the drag Bad Bunny wore in his “Yo Perreo Sola” music video.

“My new fame look is inspired by the king of Latin trap, Bad Bunny,” Wild said on the show. “I look like a hooker and I love that.”

Viewers were raving online about Jessica Wild’s iconic look. They loved the way she brought Bad Bunny’s drag to the Drag Race stage. “Jessica Wild’s Bad Bunny look OMG I AM GAGGED,” wrote one person on Twitter. “Jessica Wild inspired by Bad Bunny is everything I needed!!!!!” wrote another person in Spanish.

For her past fame look, Jaymes Mansfield represented her Mexican roots. She walked down the run in a bedazzled Mexican charro suit. The outfit is typically worn by mariachi musicians. Mansfield explained that she was inspired by Mexican and Mexican-American women in music.

“For my ‘Famous Then’ look I wanted to pay homage to Mexican singers that I look up to,” Mansfield wrote on Twitter. “I drew inspiration from Linda Ronstadt, Thalia, Alicia Villarreal, and Selena Quintanilla. A tribute to my Mexican heritage.”

Unfortunately, two Latina drag queens have sashayed away in the first two episodes: Monica Beverly Hillz and Naysha Lopez. The eliminated contestants will have a chance to be crowned the queen of the Fame Games by fan vote at the end of the season.

New episodes of All Stars are released to Paramount+ every Friday.
