George Santos Trolled on First Day on Cameo — Here’s What Happened

It looks like disgraced former New York Representative George Santos has found a new gig since being expelled from Congress last Friday (December 1). Now, he’s making personalized videos on Cameo for $200 a pop.

The issue with that, however, is that Santos is already being trolled by a former colleague. Shortly after his Cameo profile went live on Monday (December 4), Pennsylvania Senator John Fetterman anonymously purchased a video from Santos as a joke and asked him to deliver an uplifting message on camera to someone named “Bobby.”

Bobby turned out to be embattled New Jersey Senator Bob Menendez, who many in Congress would like to see resign after he was indicted on federal corruption charges in September. Like Santos, Menendez has refused to do so.

“Hey, Bobby!” Santos says in the video. “I don’t think I need to tell you, but these people that want to make you get in trouble and want to kick you out and make you run away, you make them put up or shut up. You stand your ground, sir. Don’t get bogged down by all the haters out there. Stay strong. Merry Christmas.”

As of press time, Santos’ Cameo profile is still up, but it is currently listed as “temporarily unavailable,” so videos can’t be ordered. On his profile, Santos refers to himself as “The Expelled member of Congress from New York City” and “Former congressional ‘Icon.’”

Besides the video George Santos unknowingly made for Fetterman, he also recorded himself wishing others Happy Hanukkah and congratulating a couple on their engagement.
