Though it’s too early to tell which artists could be performing at Coachella 2024, Peso Pluma could be one of them. There’s a good chance the Mexican superstar will be back on the mainstage after appearing as one of Becky G’s guests this year.
Peso Pluma made his Coachella debut back in April when Becky G brought him out as a special guest. They performed their hit collaboration “Chanel” live on the main stage together. That brief moment of performing at Coachella left Peso Pluma wanting to return to the festival with his own music.
In Peso Pluma’s recent Billboard cover story, his manager George Prajin revealed that those Coachella dreams could become a reality. According to the publication, Prajin has plans “already in the works” for Peso Pluma to return for his own set. In June, Peso Pluma released his breakthrough album Génesis, so he certainly has a big enough catalog of music now to hit the mainstage on his own.
Peso Pluma’s fans were excited about the news of his possible return to Coachella. “If peso pluma does Coachella next year I wanna go,” wrote one person on Twitter. “If Peso Pluma is on the next Coachella lineup then it’s for sure gonna be Cuhhhchella,” added another person. Advance passes for Coachella 2024 have already sold out.
In the interview, Prajin also talked about his plans for Peso Pluma to perform in stadiums in the U.S. next year. In the middle of his Doble P Tour this year, Peso Pluma upgraded from theaters to arenas due to the high demand to see him live.
Moreover, for the Mexican leg of his tour, Peso Pluma has added the first stadium shows of his career, which will be taking place in October and November. Peso Pluma will be performing at the massive Foro Sol in Mexico City, with a capacity of over 65,000 people.
