Jhayco’s newest single from his Vida Rockstar era is going out to all the ladies. The Puerto Rican star teamed up with Spanish rapper Quevedo for their new collab, “Mami Chula,” released on April 27.
“Mami Chula” finally arrives after the Puerto Rican rapper had been teasing the song on his official social media account. The track is an uptempo reggaeton banger that celebrates all the “it girls” in the room. Barring no expense in the fashion department, Jhayco and Quevedo are seen partying in the music video in search of a muse to keep the party going.
“Today Mora releases a single, and Jhayco with Quevedo,” wrote one fan on Twitter. “It’s a good day for perreo.”
“Jhayco and Quevedo are gonna drop the song of the summer and I’m just chilling,” wrote another fan.
“Jhayco will release ‘Mami Chula’ before Quevedo’s concert in Barcelona and he’ll come out to sing it with him. Save tweet,” wrote one social media user with a prayer hands emoji.
The release of “Mami Chula” seems to be part of another chapter in Jhayco’s Vida Rockstar era, including another recent single, “Cuerpecito.” This new era has seen the rapper reach new heights in the industry.
Jhayco recently made surprise appearances at this year’s Coachella festival, performing alongside Bad Bunny. Together they took the stage to sing megahits such as “Dákiti” and “Tarot.” They also performed “No Me Conoce,” which recently celebrated a major milestone after reaching 2 billion streams on YouTube.
Fans can expect more Vida Rockstar on the road when Jhayco hits the concert circuit for a string of shows in Mexico, from Guadalajara to Monterrey.
