José Madero is coming back to the U.S. On March 11, Live Nation announced the Mexican singer-songwriter’s new En Directo Tour. The tour will start at the House of Blues in San Diego, CA, on June 20 and wrap up at the Irving Plaza in New York, NY, on July 7.
Produced by Live Nation, the 11-date tour will take the “Lunes 28” singer to perform in popular venues across California, Arizona, Texas, Illinois, and New York. After starting in San Diego, CA, the tour will continue to The Belasco in Los Angeles, CA (June 21); August Hall in San Francisco, CA (June 22); the Crescent Ballroom in Phoenix, AZ (June 25); the Lowbrow Palace in El Paso, TX (June 26); and Emo’s in Austin, TX (June 28). He will then perform at the McAllen Performing Arts Center in McAllen, TX (June 29); the House of Blues in Houston, TX (June 30); the House of Blues in Dallas, TX (July 3); and the House of Blues in Chicago, IL (July 5). The final show will be at the Irving Plaza in New York, NY, on July 7.
The highly-anticipated En Directo Tour is set to showcase Madero’s 25-year musical trajectory. The former PXNDX vocalist made a name for himself as a soloist with popular songs like “No Como el Filme,” “Lamentable,” “Sinmigo,” and “Cerraron Chipinque,” which feature his signature heartfelt lyrics.
Fans will have the opportunity to buy tickets via presales leading up to the general sale. The Citi presale will start on March 12 at 7 a.m. PST and continue through the Citi Entertainment program until March 14 at 10 p.m. local time. Additional presales will run throughout the week before the general sale that starts on March 15 at 10 a.m. local time.
