Natanael Cano dropped his new album Nata Montana last night (June 29), but he’s not too happy about the rollout. The Mexican superstar aired his grievances about a few mishaps that happened with the LP’s release.

This past year, corridos tumbados have gone global thanks to artists like Natanael Cano, Peso Pluma, and Fuerza Regida. Cano released his first album since the genre’s explosion, Nata Montana. The LP includes his global hit “AMG” with Peso Pluma and Gabito Ballesteros and his recent single “Pacas De Billetes.” In what was supposed to be a happy day for him, Cano revealed that he was disappointed with how the album’s release was handled.

During an Instagram Live chat with his fans, Cano said that he was “very pissed.” He added, “Today, my album came out, and everything is going wrong.” The original tracklist for Nata Montana featured a second duet with Gabito Ballesteros called “Cuerno Azulado.” The song was ultimately removed from the album. “I want to apologize to all the plebes who were waiting for the duet with Gabito Ballesteros,” he said. “I couldn’t put it out, but I had already accepted that.”

Cano then listed off some more things that went wrong with the album’s release. At first, Apple Music uploaded the album with the wrong title. He also mentioned that the song “Viejo Lobo” was released without the vocals of featured artist Luis R Conriquez.

“My album has come out, and I’m very sad,” Cano said. “They put ‘Nata Montaña.’ They messed up with the title on Apple Music. How is that possible? This is the worst. I have Warner Music and Rancho Humilde working, guey, and they’re doing everything wrong.”

Fortunately for him and his fans, the issues he mentioned have since been fixed and updated. “Cuerno Azulado,” however, is still unavailable on streaming platforms, though it appears on the album. On Nov. 3, Cano will co-headline the Disfruto Lo Malo concert with Junior H at the Toyota Arena in Ontario, CA.
