Remezcla will bring the Boricua representation to the 2024 Red Bull Culture Clash. Last night (April 19), the star-studded trailer was released featuring what Remezcla has in store for the musical event, including the likes of Nina Sky, Tony Touch, J.I, the Prince of N.Y., and other surprises.
Remezcla’s stage at the Red Bull Culture Clash will embody the spirit of the National Puerto Rican Day Parade. The trailer for Remezcla’s contribution this year shines a light on all the stars who will hit their stage at the event. Puerto Rican-Panamanian DJ Bembona, who will perform, serves as the MC in the video as she introduces each artist. “Move Ya Body” hit-makers and DJ-sister-duo Nina Sky, Puerto Rican hip-hop icon Tony Touch, Christian Martir with Capicu!, and Nuyorican rapper J.I the Prince of N.Y. stand tall and mighty in the video. The artists plus special guests will represent Puerto Rican pride on the Remezcla stage.
“This trailer is more than just a preview of what’s to come at Red Bull Culture Clash; it’s a pulse-pounding tribute to the power of diversity, unity, and the electrifying energy that fuels Nuyorican culture,” says Thatiana Diaz, Remezcla’s Editor-in-Chief. “Each name in our lineup deserves the spotlight, and we’ve seized this opportunity to give them the recognition they rightly deserve while building excitement for our audience.”
The trailer first premiered at Jalao within the Radio Hotel in New York City last night (Apr. 18), with Christian Martir, Bembona, Nina Sky, Capicu!, and Tony Touch in attendance.
