Ryan Castro is making his way to the U.S. this fall. Today (Aug. 9), the Colombian singer-songwriter announced the dates for his new Ghetto Star USA Tour.
“It is a pleasure for me to announce that this September 1st we are starting a tour in the United States,” the singer wrote online. “My love[s], parcero[s], and all the people that follow el cantante del ghetto, I want you to get ready to see us.”
He continued: “I have a lot of morale and a lot of desire to perform as always, I have a new show that I know you will enjoy very much. We are going to sing all the old songs and obviously the new ones that are hot.” He also mentions he has surprises and releases prepared for the tour.
The newly-unveiled U.S. tour will begin in West Palm Beach, FL, on Sept. 1. Castro will then perform in Atlanta, GA, on Sep. 3, Boston, MA, on Sep. 9, and New York, NY, on Sep. 10. Then, he will hit Houston, TX, on Sept. 14; Los Angeles, CA, on Sept. 15; and San Francisco, CA, on Sept. 16. The final stretch includes Las Vegas, NV, on Sept. 17; Chicago, IL, on Sept. 21; and Orlando, FL, on Sept. 22.
Fans are excited to see the pop-reggaeton performer live. A social media user wrote: “Ryan Castro coming to the states. I am in there like swimwear.” Another social media user echoed the same sentiment: “Ryan Castro announcing his us tour made my wholeeee day better 🥹.”
The tour comes after dropping his hit collaboration “QUEMA” with Peso Pluma. “QUEMA” earned Castro a career milestone: his first-ever Billboard Hot 100 chart entry. Not only did it debut at No. 92 in the Hot 100 chart, but it also ranked No. 21 on Billboard’s Hot Latin Songs chart that same week (dated July 29).
