Today (April 11), Remezcla is exclusively revealing the next round of performers for the 2024 Latin American Music Awards. Mexican pop icon Thalia, AB Quintanilla, Morat, Danny Ocean, and Ryan Castro are among the artists hitting the Latin AMAs stage on April 25.
This year’s Latin American Music Awards will be hosted by Thalia, Alejandra Espinoza, and Carlos Ponce. The “Amor a La Mexicana” hit-maker will pull double duty as a performer as well, premiering one of the songs from her upcoming EP, A Mucha Honra. She has previewed the música mexicana record with “Choro” featuring Estilo Sin Limite and “Troca” with Ángela Aguilar.
AB Quintanilla, known for work with Kumbia Kings and his late sister Selena Quintanilla, is also joining the line-up of performers. He will join this year’s Legacy Award honorees Banda MS to perform their recent hit “Es Viernes.” Sinaloa-based duo Los 2 de la S will also make an appearance during Banda MS’ performance. They will join forces to sing their collaboration “Somos Lo Que Somos” live together.
There will also be a lot of el movimiento present at the awards. Venezuelan star Danny Ocean will perform his new single “Cero Condiciones” live. With the reggaeton banger, he showed his support for the LGBTQ+ community. Rising Venezuelan singer La Cruz, who is openly gay, has a cameo in the music video. Panamanian hit-maker Dímelo Flow and Dalex will rejoin the Academy to perform one of the hits from their recent comeback album. Colombian reggaetonero Ryan Castro will hit the stage to sing “Quema” live along with a new song.
Colombian group Morat will also perform at this year’s ceremony. Previously announced performers include Peso Pluma, Gabito Ballesteros, Jay Wheeler, Justin Quiles, Farruko, Yng Lvcas, and Deorro.
The 2024 Latin American Music Awards will air live from Las Vegas, NV, on Univision. The show will also be available to watch on UNIMÁS, Galavisión, and ViX.
