In a pitstop to the upcoming grand finale, Drag Race México brought all 11 queens back together for a reunion episode where the queens reflected on the memorable moments of the season, spilled some hot tea about their time in the competition, and voted for Miss Congeniality. Valentina and Lolita Banana co-hosted the reunion special.
While sitting around the runway, all the queens looked stunning in looks that showed off their elevated drag styles. And Valentina and Lolita Banana made sure to give each contestant their fair share of camera time.
Going in order of elimination, Miss Vallarta talked about the first lip sync where neither she nor Vermelha Noir knew the words to the song. Then, Serena Morena was praised for living up to her “Serene” name. Following them, Pixie Pixie revealed in an emotional, never-before-seen clip that her father lent her money to pay a designer shortly before his passing. She dedicated her time on the show to her father’s memory.
Later on, Argennis, who was a lip-sync assassin, was praised for learning to let down her tough exterior to be vulnerable and connect with her castmates. When it was Margaret Y Ya’s moment in the spotlight, she talked about a hot topic on the show: her signature makeup style. She joked that she was happy to be the “villain of makeup” this season despite often getting critiqued by judge Óscar Madrazo.
Later on in the reunion episode and after all the votes were tallied, Lady Kero was awarded Miss Congeniality. Valentina, who is a Miss Congeniality herself, alluded to her past win by joking that the title can also be referred to as “Fan Favorite.”
In the end, the four finalists all received sweet messages from their friends and family.
Cristian Peralta often talked about how her partner and her daughter were her driving force in the competition, so it was beautiful to see her reaction to her family’s video message. Gala Varo’s video message included her dog that inspired her stand-up comedy routine. She also revealed that she wanted to leave the show at one point, but fortunately, she overcame that.
Matraka was praised by Valentina for being a drag queen who approached each challenge with a unique perspective. And despite being a very seasoned drag queen, Regina Voce talked about being open to continuing to learn and evolve as a performer.
Cristian Peralta, Gala Varo, Matraka, and Regina Voce will move on to the season finale to compete to be the winner of the first season of Drag Race México.
