Award season is officially here. On Jan. 22, the Premio Lo Nuestro 2024 nominations came out. The most-nominated artist is Colombian superstar Maluma, followed by Peso Pluma and Grupo Frontera. The highly-anticipated award show will take place at the Kaseya Center in Miami, FL, on Feb. 22.

Premio Lo Nuestro 2024 will be co-hosted by Mexican-American telenovela actress Angélica Vale, Dominican actress and TV presenter Clarissa Molina, and Mexican actress and comedian Galilea Montijo. This year, there’s a total of 180 nominees across 38 categories that include diverse artists in el movimiento, pop, música mexicana, and more.

Maluma is on top of the most-nominated list with 14 nominations. He’s up in main categories such as Artist of the Year, Song of the Year with “Nunca Y Pico” with Yandel and Eladio Carrión, and Album of the Year with Don Juan. Following Maluma is Peso Pluma, who received a whopping 13 nods. He’s nominated in categories including Artist of the Year, Song of the Year with his joint track “Ella Baila Sola” alongside Eslabon Armado, and Album of the Year with Génesis.

Grupo Frontera is also on top of the most-nominated artists. This year, they’re up for 10 trophies, including the three categories mentioned above, as well as Mexican Music – New Artist Group or Duo, The Perfect Mix of the Year for “Un X100to” alongside Bad Bunny, and Mexican Music – Song of the Year for their breakout hit “No Se Va (En Vivo).”

Other artists who received multiple nominations include Karol G and Feid, who each received nine nominations. Both artists are up for Artist of the Year, Album of the Year, and Remix of the Year.

Moreover, J Noa, Kenia Os, and paopao are all up for New Artist Female. New música mexicana hitmakers such as Junior H are also nominated under Mexican Music Fusion of the Year for his joint track “Fin De Semana” with Oscar Maydon and Mexican Music – Male Artist of the Year. He shares the nomination in the latter category with Carin León, Peso Pluma, and Luis R Conriquez.
