Mexico’s biggest reggaeton artist will perform concerts across the U.S. for the first time. Today (Mar. 26), rising star Yng Lvcas announced the dates for his 333 Tour USA.
Yng Lvcas was born Daniel Oswaldo Donlucas Martínez in Guadalajara, Jalisco. The 24-year-old singer scored the first global hit by a Mexican reggaeton artist with the “La Bebe” remix featuring Peso Pluma. That notably marked the música mexicana superstar’s first foray into reggaeton. Their collaboration peaked at No. 11 on the all-genre Billboard Hot 100 chart.
“He told me he liked the song, and we did the remix,” Yng Lvcas told Remezcla last year about working with Peso Pluma. “We drank Hennessy. We smoked some blunts, and we wrote the song. The remix has shot to the sky.”
Fresh off the success of the “La Bebe” remix, Yng Lvcas has announced his first headlining tour of the U.S. His 333 Tour USA will kick off on May 30 at Mango’s in Sacramento, CA. Yng Lvcas will also perform concerts in major cities like Los Angeles, CA; Dallas and Houston, TX; New York City, NY; and Miami, FL. The tour will wrap on Jun. 16 at The Palace in Woodbridge, VA.
Tickets for the general public will go on sale on Friday, Mar. 29. The tour also includes Yng Lvcas’ appearance at La Onda Fest in Napa, CA. On the lineup, he is joined by other Mexican acts like Alejandro Fernández, Junior H, Gera MX, and Danna Paola.
Last October, Yng Lvcas released his latest album, Super Estrellas. The LP boasted features from more of Mexico’s reggaeton stars like El Bogueto, El Malilla, Ingratax, and Lexy Walter. He saw the album as his way to use his platform to shine a light on his colleagues. Mexican pop star Leon Leiden also jumped on a feature with Yng Lvcas.
