Aventura is officially back with new music! Today (April 2), the iconic Dominican-American group released their new single “Brindo Con Agua.”

In February, Romeo Santos revealed that he was reuniting with Aventura for their final tour called Cerrando Ciclos. Fans were also hoping that the reunion would lead to new music from the top-selling bachata group. In 2019, Aventura released the song “Inmortal” on Romeo Santos’ Utopía album. Two years later, they teamed up with Bad Bunny for the collaboration “Volví.” After a few years without new Aventura music, the guys have officially returned with “Brindo Con Agua.”

“Brindo Con Agua” is a fiery bachata song. Instead of Romeo Santos, the person who sings the lead on this track is Henry Santos. In an emotional performance, he sings about losing his wife and his family from drinking too much. Now Henry keeps drinking to forget about that tumultuous time. Romeo comes in at the halfway point as the voice of reason and tells Henry to get his life together. “Brindo Con Agua” is Aventura’s gift to their long-time fans.

Speaking of the fans, they were excited to finally get new music from Aventura, but not with Henry Santos on lead vocals. One person wrote on X (formally known as Twitter), “I was excited for that new Aventura song only for it to be a Henry song. make it stop.” Another person added, “That aventura Henry song was meh. Everyone knows this the top tier Henry song.”

Aventura’s Cerrando Ciclos Tour kicks off on May 1 at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, CA. Due to high demand for tickets, the guys added additional dates to the tour. Over the weekend, Romeo Santos revealed that he was in great health and ready to tour soon following false reports about him having a heart attack.
