Emilia is getting into the Brazilian funk groove with Ludmilla. Today (May 3), both women are making history as the first artists to release a music video through Instagram Reels. Emilia joined forces with Ludmilla for her new single “No_Se_Ve.mp3.”

Emilia is one of Argentina’s leading female artists. Last year, she released her debut album Tú Crees En Mí?, which saw her team up with fellow Argentine acts like Nicki Nicole and her partner Duki. Like the title of her LP, she has bet on herself as an artist, and the move is paying off.

“The certainty that something is real is to believe in something,” Emilia told Remezcla last year. “I believe that’s what happened with my career and my story. With the confidence I had in myself and the sacrifices I made, I was able to achieve what’s happening now.”

“No_Se_Ve.mp3” is her latest single to embrace a 2000s aesthetic. She previously released “Jagger.mp3” and interpolated “Independent Women” by Destiny’s Child in “La Chain.” Alongside Ludmilla, Emilia blends EDM with elements of Brazilian funk. The song was produced by Zecca, who has worked closely with Bizarrap. In the genre-bending banger, Emilia and Ludmilla trade verses in Spanish and Portuguese about partying like there’s no tomorrow.

There will be two music videos released for “No_Se_Ve.mp3.” Emilia collaborated with META to release the first one today through Instagram Reels. It marks the first time that an artist has released a video exclusively through Reels. She and Ludmilla dial it back to the 2000s with their Y2K-inspired styles. Both women look fierce as they dance to the song together.

The second “No_Se_Ve.mp3” video will be released on YouTube this Friday. On May 6, Emilia will be honored with the Rising Star award at Billboard’s inaugural Mujeres Latinas En La Música event. Other honorees include Thalia, Ana Gabriel, and Shakira, who will receive the Latin Woman of the Year award.
