The Super Mario Bros. Movie pulled down some big box office numbers at theaters during its first weekend, so it’s likely that the animated video game adaptation will get a sequel. If it does, Jack Black, who voices the movie’s main antagonist, Bowser, knows exactly who he’d like to see get cast as a villain: Pedro Pascal.

During an interview with Game Spot, Black first said he wasn’t sure the studio would bring Bowser back for a potential sequel. “It’s not a given that Bowser will return,” he said. “You know, I did a few Kung Fu Panda movies, and it was a different villain every movie. They may do the same thing.”

He then revealed the villain he would like to see make an appearance and which actor he would like to lend his voice to the baddie. “You know, what if there is a more powerful, more evil villain?” he said. “Then I may need to be turned to help Mario and the rest to defend our universe against some other unseen force of evil. Are you thinking what I’m thinking? Wario. Pedro Pascal is Wario.”

For those not familiar with the Super Mario Bros. franchise, Wario is Mario’s archrival. He made his first appearance in Super Mario Land 2, a 1992 game for the handheld Game Boy console. Wario also became the main character of his own Wario Land series, which included video games like Wario World for the Nintendo GameCube and Wario: Master of Disguise for the Nintendo DS.

Black recently joined Pascal in an episode of The Mandalorian. He and Lizzo played husband and wife rulers of a planet known as Plazir-15. But if Pascal were to play Wario, he’s already got a little practice at entering this world after playing Mario in a gritty SNL skit trying to get Princess Peach to Rainbow Road.

Need more proof that Pedro Pascal is a perfect Wario? Here you go.

But there are some that think it’s a mistake and that Danny DeVito should be in the running.

And while we’re at it, the internet thinks that Gabriel Luna should join in as Wario’s partner in crime Waluigi.

Or Nicolas Cage.

Either way, from the way, that the internet is reacting, they’d welcome Pedro Pascal in anything.
